South West Branch Library

The South West Branch library, built for Brampton Library, is a 6028 sq.ft. interior fit-out project.  The project integrates Brampton Library’s services into the new-construction shopping plaza of Lionhead Market Place, located off Financial Drive north of Steeles. This location places the library centrally within the community surrounding it, while also benefiting from the increased foot traffic that the plaza provides. Built to accommodate the growing community within the area, it is designed with easy access in mind, with accessible and barrier free amenities. The library provides the public with study spaces, computer access, a community program room, an urban lounge, and informal spaces for children to learn and play. The addition of the branch provides greater coverage for the Brampton Library system, and is an essential and welcoming community hub for the surrounding neighbourhoods.
