Iroquois Ridge Library

Location: Oakville, Ontario
Client: Town of Oakville

The redesign of the one-story Iroquois Ridge Library involved the revitalization of the main library space to incorporate a new creation zone and a multipurpose program room. The creative zone is a state-of-the-art facility designed to integrate creativity, innovation, and learning life skills through hands-on experiences, collaboration, and socialization. The multi-purpose room is designed as an expandable and flexible programming space that can be physically opened to the main space, allowing for larger community gatherings and events.

The renovation also included a well-placed smaller customer service point that provides excellent sightlines throughout the library space. The result of the interior revitalization is the transformation of the library into a dynamic and welcoming space that supports community interaction and collaboration.
