Chinguacousy Library

Chinguacousy Branch is the busiest branch of the Brampton Library system, located in the Chinguacousy Civic Centre. The renovation involved the redesign of three levels; two public floors and one lower level staff work area. A third level mezzanine was also renovated to provide managerial staff work stations and collaborative meeting spaces. The library provides for an inclusive and welcoming entrance, designed as a dynamic entry point that connects the library to the surrounding community. The library incorporates flexible and expandable programming opportunities for collaborative learning and community events on two floors and includes a Digital Lab, a makerspace, and a recording studio.
