2023 Carbonzero Certification

ward99 architects inc. is proud to announce that we are Carbonzero Certified through the successful measurement and carbon offsetting of our Scope 1,2, and material Scope 3 Greenhouse Gas emissions. This initiative, among others, is part of ward99’s commitment to implementing sustainable business practices and development with the goal of reducing our impact on global climate.

Working alongside Carbonzero Canada, an industry leader in carbon offsetting solutions, ward99 was able to invest in long term climate actions in The Niagara Escarpment Forest Carbon Project (NEFCP). NEFCP helps to maintain and restore the natural environment across the Niagara Escarpment, managed by the Escarpment Biosphere Conservancy. By doing so, the initiative protects the natural biodiversity of the area while creating a natural carbon sink, offsetting our carbon emissions, and supporting the natural landscape of Canada.
